Advancing Wound Care through collaborative Research and Expertise for North America
Wound Central is a new double-blind peer reviewed journal that is published four times a year and brings together the publishing expertise of JWC and over 50,000 health professionals trained by or associated with the Wound Care Education Institute (WCEI), Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC), American Vein and Lymphatic Society (AVLS), Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (APWH), and American College of Clinical Wound Specialists (ACCWS).
Wound Central provides robust research, and gives the opportunity for health professionals to write for and be a part of a new journal for North America. It is targeted at physicians, nurses, scientists, researchers, and academics and brings together research, reviews and expert opinion pieces all in one place.
Wound Central receives papers through JWC (impact factor of 2.066), or through the Wound Central submissions portal. The journal is catalogued in the U.S. National Library of Medicine Medline database and is available through a wide range of libraries, institutions and governments with a global scope.
