Changes to APWH and moving forward in 2025

02 December 2024
Volume 8 · Issue 3

As we embark upon the holiday season I want to recognise the dedicated wound care professionals who tirelessly treat patients and have an unwavering commitment to excellence in providing outstanding care. The Journal of Wound Care (JWC) is here to support your interests and provide meaningful information that allows you to pursue excellence in the treatment of your patients. It is indeed a privilege for me to be participating with this publication and have the opportunity to provide this final editorial for 2024.

As we look ahead to the new year, we find ourselves presented with exciting and promising opportunities for growth—not just within the US but also on an international scale. We are actively finalising plans to expand the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing (APWH) outreach beyond our domestic borders. This expansion aims to share our knowledge and resources with a broader audience, ensuring that wound care professionals globally can benefit from our collective expertise. JWC is one method APWH uses to reach and share knowledge with wound care professionals worldwide. APWH collaborates with several other countries, including Israel, Taiwan and now India.
